3. Is the wood ready to burn? Kiln dried is always ready to burn. We generally run out of air dried wood by Oct. We always have bargain bags available if customer is looking for the best deal. Please call the office for the most up-to-date information about wood readiness.

4. What's the Difference Between Green, Air dried, Kiln Dried: Green wood is freshly cut with a lot of water left in the wood. It will need 6+ months to dry out for best burn. Air dried wood is "seasoned" wood with moisture content of 25% or less. Kiln dried wood has been put in an oven for approx. 24 hours to evaporate the moisture. It is also bug free with moisture content of 10-15% for optimum burning.

5. What's in a Bargain Bag? Bargain Bags are off shoots of wood that don't meet the normal specs of 16 inch long  and 3-4 inch wide. Bargain bags are not stackable but are dry. The wood is all shapes, sizes, rounds, knots, end pieces, and odd shaped. It is great wood to burn but not the prettiest.
