Collection: Donate to Western North Carolina Firewood Fund

Like all of you, we are heartbroken to see the devastation Hurricane Helene caused to our neighbors in Western Carolina. We understand the impact on our fellow North Carolinians will be long- lasting, and they will need all the help we can give in order to recover from it.

As the weather starts to turn cooler and many still remain without shelter, power, and heating sources, one of the growing needs of the region is firewood.  We have partnered with Sunny Morning.org and Blue Ridge Opportunity Commissions to help fulfill this needs. We plan to donate 48 of our bargain bags. Many of you have purchased our bargain bags before and know this is good, dry hardwood, oak, and hickory wood that is ready to be burned.

These bags will go directly to the residents of Ashe and Lansing counties where they will provide life-saving fuel and help hundreds of families stay warm in the coming months.

We have already donated several thousand pounds of wood, but as a small, family-owned business we need your help to offset the costs. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to be able to continue to donate these bags. The cost of these bags of wood range from $100-$150 dollars, but any amount you can donate is welcome.  100% of donations will go towards covering the cost of bags and transportation.

Above all, please join us in prayer for all those who were, are, and continue to be impacted by the storms.
